JSkyway About/Contact Courses Resource Center Working With Us Press Room

JSkyway has created a span of courses for over 350 educators in Jewish schools. Using our knowledge and expertise, we can provide the framework and methodology to create specific programs for external organizations and bring courses to life. We have recently created courses for DOROT and STAR.

How does it work?
JSkyway works directly with the interested organization to determine the syllabus for each course, the length of courses, the best way to present the materials, the facilitation of the courses, how to use the classroom and interact with the participants in the most effective manner, and the best way to train participants on how to use the JSkyway Online Classroom.

JSkyway Methodology
JSkyway’s course development methodology follows a four step process: Requirements Gathering, Design/Development, Training/Pre-course Work, Course Execution/Post-course work. Depending on the depth of the project, some or all of the steps are incorporated.

Step 1: Requirements Gathering/Needs Assessment
The JSkyway team will work closely with you during the requirements gathering step to define the challenges that will be addressed during the project. We will define course strategy and project objectives. We will make preliminary decisions about user interface, content, marketing and evaluation requirements, as necessary. We will put together a preliminary project plan that will serve as the basis for completing the effort and a course syllabus that outlines the content that will need to be gathered.

Step 2: Design/ Development
During Design/ Development we will identify what the elements are needed in the course. We will work with you to investigate the multi-media requirements and pedagogic tools that should be incorporated to best suit the project objectives as outlined above. We will begin the programming of the course based on content obtained from your organization. All content and multi-media components will go through various iterations of design reviews to ensure development is consistent with the identified objectives. Simultaneously, your organization will identify participants and begin registration. Facilitator(s) for the course will be identified and the evaluation process will be created during this step.

Step 3: Training/ Pre Course Work
During the training and pre-course work step, the JSkyway team will work closely with you to create a training program and introduction packet for participants. Additionally, the facilitator(s) will receive an independent training program to familiarize them with the classroom, the course content and the requirements for course success, as appropriate.

Step 4: Course Execution and Post-Course Work
During this step, the course will be monitored and evaluated. Technical support will be made available to the facilitator and course participants. Upon completion of the course an assessment will be undertaken based on the course evaluations, if applicable.
